TribeTalk: Think You're Too Young to Be Menopausal? Come Find Out
Brain fog, bad sleep, anxiety or changing periods in your late 30s or 40s? It could be perimenopause. Most of us picture menopause as something that happens in our fifties, but the transition can start years earlier - and because the symptoms don't always look like the "classic" hot flush, many women spend years being told it's stress.
What we'll cover
- What perimenopause actually is, and when it can start
- The lesser-known symptoms and why they're so often missed
- When testing helps, and when it doesn't
- Your treatment options, including HRT and non-hormonal approaches
- How to have a productive conversation with your GP
- Open Q&A - bring your questions
Your speakers
Julie Boora - Co-Founder and Superintendent Pharmacist at TribElle, a GPhC-registered online pharmacy built exclusively for women's health.
Lu Pincott - Menopause and Menstrual Health educator and workplace trainer, running awareness sessions for individuals and organisations.

TribeTalk: Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS)
PCOS has a new name - and a lot of questions that come with it. A live conversation on what the rename to polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS) means for your care.
Key takeaway: PMOS is a whole-body condition affecting hormones, metabolism, mental health, skin, and cardiovascular health - not just the ovaries.

TribeTalks: Oral GLP-1s - What Are They and How Do They Work?
No injections, no needles - just a tablet. Our Clinical Director and Superintendent Pharmacist Julie Boora cut through the noise on oral GLP-1s: how they work, how they differ from injectable versions, who they might suit, and what the evidence says so far.
Key takeaway: Oral GLP-1s work in the same way as injectable versions but are not interchangeable - suitability, dosing and side effects differ, so a pharmacist consultation matters before starting.

TribeTalk: Why Do I Feel Like This? Understanding Anxiety in Your Body
A live conversation with psychotherapist Marine Vernet MBACP and our clinical lead on what actually happens in your body when anxiety shows up - and what genuinely helps.
Key takeaway: Anxiety is a physical as well as psychological experience, often presenting as fatigue, irritability, and disrupted sleep rather than panic - and most women were never taught to recognise it.

TribeTalk: Weight Loss and BMI in South Asian Women
Exploring the unique metabolic and cultural factors that shape weight management for South Asian women, with expert insight and honest conversation.

Endometriosis and Adenomyosis: When Period Pain Isn't 'Normal'
A deep-dive into two conditions that are still widely misunderstood - covering symptoms, diagnosis timelines, and what you deserve from your healthcare team.

TribeTalks: Menopause and Lifestyle - Thriving Through the Transition
Honest, empowering conversation about navigating menopause - covering lifestyle changes, HRT, and how to feel like yourself again.
Key takeaway: Menopause is a multi-year hormonal transition, not a single event - lifestyle adjustments alongside HRT can significantly improve quality of life during perimenopause and beyond.

Can perimenopause start in your late 30s or early 40s?
Yes. Perimenopause can start years before your fifties, often in your late 30s or early 40s. Because the symptoms don't always look like the classic hot flush - think changing periods, waking at 3am, brain fog, anxiety that feels out of character - many women are told it's stress or just getting older. Our free TribeTalk on 21 October 2026 covers exactly this, including when testing helps and how to talk to your GP.
Does TribElle speak at other women's health events?
Yes. Our co-founder and Superintendent Pharmacist Julie Boora speaks at partner events across London. Next up she joins the founders of Cerebella, OneCarbon and Hysteron on the panel at Menopause: Lived Experience + Research & Innovation at 120 Moorgate on 15 October 2026, hosted by Celsius Innovations. Registration is via Luma and subject to host approval.
What is PMOS - and why is TribElle talking about it?
PMOS stands for polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome - the new name for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), agreed through a global consensus process and published in The Lancet in May 2026. The rename reflects that this is a whole-body condition affecting hormones, metabolism, mental health, skin, and cardiovascular health. Up to 70% of those affected remain undiagnosed. TribElle hosted a free webinar on PMOS on 2 July 2026 - watch the recap on our Instagram.
What are oral GLP-1 treatments and can a pharmacist answer my questions?
Oral GLP-1s are tablet versions of GLP-1 medications, traditionally given by injection, used for weight management. Our Superintendent Pharmacist Julie Boora hosted a free live webinar on 24 June 2026 breaking down how they work, how they differ from injectable versions, and who they may be suitable for - watch the recap on our Instagram.
Is TribElle a registered pharmacy?
Yes. TribElle is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC Registration 9012688). It is the UK's only online pharmacy built specifically for women, based in London, and co-founded by Superintendent Pharmacist Julie Boora.
