Julie Boora

Co-founder · Superintendent Pharmacist

Hi, I’m Julie (Jaspal Kaur) Boora, co-founder and Superintendent Pharmacist at TribElle.

I’ve been a pharmacist for over 20 years, starting my career on the frontline of community pharmacy, where I quickly learned that being a good clinician is about much more than medicines. It’s about listening, understanding and giving people the confidence to make informed decisions about their health.

Throughout my career, I’ve listened to countless women who have felt lost, unheard or unsure where to turn, whether navigating fertility, motherhood, menstrual health, perimenopause, menopause or weight management. Too often, women have had their symptoms dismissed or have been left trying to piece together information from different sources. I’ve seen first-hand how much better healthcare can be when women are genuinely listened to.

My experience has also given me a strong understanding of the clinical and commercial side of healthcare. I have built, led and scaled pharmacy businesses, developed robust clinical governance and care pathways, and played a key role in bringing weight-loss medication to the UK market. I understand how to combine high clinical standards with safe, efficient and scalable healthcare delivery.

I’m passionate about the growing understanding of the connection between women’s health, hormones, weight and metabolic health, particularly during perimenopause and menopause, and I want TribElle to become a trusted place where women can find credible information, access appropriate treatment and feel supported throughout their health journey.

I also understand the reality of trying to balance work, family and countless responsibilities while often putting your own health at the bottom of the list. That personal experience, combined with my clinical background, is a big part of why TribElle matters so much to me.

Together with my co-founder Sahithi, we created TribElle by women, for women, with a simple ambition: to make women's healthcare feel more accessible, more personal and easier to navigate.

I’m proud to have been quoted and featured in publications including Chemist & Druggist, the BBC, Yahoo Health and Apple News, sharing expertise on pharmacy, weight management and women's health.

But ultimately, the reason I’m here is simple: I want women to feel heard, informed and confident about their health.

Whatever stage of life you're at, if you have a question or don't know where to turn, our team is here to help.

Welcome to TribElle, your health, your voice, your Tribe.

Sahithi Amaravadi

Co-founder

For years I worked as a healthcare management consultant, designing digital health systems and improving hospital operations. I thought I understood healthcare, until I became a patient who wasn’t heard.

At 28, during what was supposed to be a routine scan, a sonographer casually said: “you have endometriosis.” Just like that. After years of being told my pain was normal, that I was overreacting, that maybe I should just relax more.

That moment changed everything. All those years spent optimising healthcare systems, and I’d missed the most fundamental problem: the system wasn’t broken for everyone. Just for women like me, trying to advocate for ourselves and being dismissed at every turn.

TribElle is our attempt to create the kind of healthcare experience we wish we’d had: where you don’t have to fight to be believed, where accessing treatment doesn’t feel like an obstacle course, and where evidence-based care meets genuine empathy.

We’re here because we’ve been where you are.
